21-22 October virtual conference 2021
The Australian Biomedical Engineering Conference (ABEC) is organised by Engineers Australia. The conference aims to provide an international forum for researchers, industry practitioners, engineers, postgraduate scholars and industry managers. With a new format this year, the conference will reflect a new way in which we collaborate and learn. We have created an event with an innovative setup, giving you the opportunity to attend virtually, in real-time, through our interactive platform and watch, later in replay. This allows for professionals around the world to get involved with conference conversations.
The College of Biomedical Engineers is for members of Engineers Australia who work closely with medical practitioners, health-industry professionals, and vehicle and safety equipment manufacturers to enhance human life. The two-day conference is planned to be a virtual online event with a 'hybrid' networking element for those able to attend in person. ABEC is the major conference for the College of Biomedical Engineers within Engineers Australia. Engineers Australia is the national forum for the advancement of engineering and the professional development of our engineers.
The theme for ABEC21, is 'Re-imagining biomedical engineering for a post-pandemic world'.
